A transformational residential-led regeneration scheme utilising underused land and buildings in the heart of Stafford.
Details
One of several transformational schemes taking place in Stafford town centre, Eastgate will see the redevelopment of land and buildings in the ownership of Staffordshire County Council and create a strong link between Stafford’s Riverside and Civic Quarters, the recently completed Staffordshire History Centre and the historic town centre.
It provides an excellent opportunity in the heart of Stafford town centre, with around 95 residential units, 840 square metres of commercial space and a proposed 120 key hotel. Eastgate will form a key part of the ongoing transformation of Stafford town centre, closely complementing further investments being made through the Future High Streets Fund. By reusing buildings wherever possible, the development will have strong environmental benefits and enhance Stafford’s townscape. Staffordshire County Council is currently working with Development Partner ION Property Developments on feasibility proposals.
